All's well in Ashwell!

We are looking forward to headlining the opening night of the 59th Ashwell Music Festival this Saturday 19th May. With our fabulous live band The Rockafellas bringing up the rear, we will be blasting out our big band classics from the wartime years and beyond against the backdrop of the stunning Ashwell Parish Church. Jubilee Joy!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be performing live at the Queen's offical Jubilee Family Festival in Hyde Park on 2nd & 3rd June. Hosted by Mylene Klass and John Culshaw, we'll have the honour of performing alongside the cast of Strictly Come Dancing and The London African Gospel Choir plus many more fantastic acts. With a 70 minute orchestral celebration of the best loved Disney songs, big screen footage of Epsom Derby Day and the Thames Diamond Pageant, plus street performers, RAF Dog Displays and marching bands, it is an absolutely unmissable event... not least because The Rockabellas are now on the bill!! Mum's The Word!

It's fair to say that being a mum is one of the hardest yet most rewarding jobs a woman can ever undertake. With 4 children between us, we should know! And as we smile endearingly at the homemade greeting card with slightly too much copydex, or pretend to enjoy the sticky cupcake lovingly baked at nursery by someone else's child, let us raise a glass to all those lovely ladies who are or have a fabulous mum. GREAT Malvern!

Exciting news just in at Rockabellas HQ! We have been invited to perform for two consecutive days at this year's Malvern Spring Show on 10th & 11th May! We are also 'in town' on 22nd April as we return to one of our favourite places in Great Malvern, The Nags Head, for the annual St George's Beer Festival Weekend. We are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces as well as welcoming some new ones too, so keep an eye on the site for ticket info...It's going to be Great!

The AM after the night before!

Wow, what a wonderful gig last night, performing to over 1000 special guests from the automobile industry as they gathered at Birmingham's ICC for the annual AM Awards. Hosted by Strictly sensational Susanna Reid, we added to the girl power on stage, opening the awards ceremony with our brand new bespoke arrangement of The Beatles' hit Drive My Car. Va Va Voom indeed!

We're off to the Prom!

We are thrilled to announce we will be performing at all 6 Battle Prom Concerts this summer - amazing venues including Blenheim Palace, Hatfield House and honme of Downton Abbey, Highclere Castle. The events have been crowned 'UK’s premier classical picnic proms' with Spitfire, cannons, cavalry and fireworks, not to mention fabulous music from international musicians and groups including our good selves! One 'Elle' of an Accolade!

We are thrilled to have recently worked with Elle's Wedding Planner of the Year, Mark Niemierko, who reviewed us in national magazine Brides as "a 1940’s female trio act singing everything from Candyman to Beyonce’s Crazy In Love. We were delighted to share the bill with Danyl Johnson and Doctor & The Medics at Ashwell's 'Clairefest' last month. Kids Party At The Palace

The Rockabellas looked stunning, if we may say so, in Cath Kidston dresses last night as they performed for the annual Cath Kidston Summer Garden Party at Fulham Palace. A great night was had by all and we thank Kane & Daisy for looking after us in style!

What a great show last week at Ricky Tomlinson's cabaret club, The Green Room, in Liverpool. Performing alongside the legendary Tom O Connor was an honour - getting congratulated by him after our performance was even better!
