Goodbye Patty Andrews
What sad news, that the last surviving Andrews Sister, Patty, has now passed away. The sisters were truly inspiring to so many, boosting the morale of the forces and bringing joy to people all over the world as they sold over 70million records. What a joy then to be invited to talk about their music and their huge influence on us Bellas in an interview with BBC Belfast. Watch this space for a recording of the interview!

From ITV to TCT!
What a great night last night! It started with a trip to Highclere Castle, home of ITV's Downton Abbey (not to mention a certain Katie Price & Peter Andre's fairytale wedding!) where we performed a storming set for our fourth in the Battle Proms season. Then it was off to Heronsgate for a simply stunning fundraiser in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust where we were honoured to share the stage with legendary Chris Farlowe and The Tremeloes. We don't often name drop but we couldnt resist this!!!!
We are all set for Battle at Hatfield House tomorrow, Sat 21st July, as the third Battle Proms concert of the season heads to Hertfordshire. National Armed Forces weekend was a busy one as ever for us Bellas! Starting in style with the Best of British Summer Ball, dancing the night away in our patriotic red, white & blue pin up costumes, we then journeyed down to Lowdefest where we performed to 2000 people chilling in the summer sunshine! From there we headed to one of our favourite haunts, the J&A Cafe in Clerkenwell, to celebrate Mark & Bruce's 10th wedding anniversary, before finally heading home! To everyone who shared a part of the weekend with us, we salute you!

A Diamond Weekend!

We had a great time singing in the rain and entertaining the crowds as they celebrated with each other. Thanks to everyone who attended the opening night of the 59th Ashwell Music Festival on Saturday. With our fabulous live band The Rockafellas bringing up the rear, we blasted out our big band classics from the wartime years and beyond, against the backdrop of the stunning Ashwell Parish Church. And in keeping with the venue, we have received plenty of praise! Thanks to all those who have emailed us and joined us on twitter & facebook. There are certainly some big hearts in Herts!
We are thrilled to announce that we will be performing live at the Queen's offical Jubilee Family Festival in Hyde Park on 2nd & 3rd June. Hosted by Mylene Klass and John Culshaw, we'll have the honour of performing alongside the cast of Strictly Come Dancing and The London African Gospel Choir plus many more fantastic acts. With a 70 minute orchestral celebration of the best loved Disney songs, big screen footage of Epsom Derby Day and the Thames Diamond Pageant, plus street performers, RAF Dog Displays and marching bands, it is an absolutely unmissable event... not least because The Rockabellas are now on the bill!! The AM after the night before!
Wow, what a wonderful gig last night, performing to over 1000 special guests from the automobile industry as they gathered at Birmingham's ICC for the annual AM Awards. Hosted by Strictly sensational Susanna Reid, we added to the girl power on stage, opening the awards ceremony with our brand new bespoke arrangement of The Beatles' hit Drive My Car. Va Va Voom indeed!
